*Dog Collars Specs*
-Metal D ring
-Metal adjuster
-Metal or white plastic side release buckle(push in both sides at once to
fasten and unfasten)
-Cotton fabric exterior, sturdy webbing interior
-Extra stitching at all pressure points

Metal buckles:
Pro- stronger than plastic and look more luxurious
Con- more prone to cosmetic wear and tear like scratches

Plastic buckles:
Pro- lightweight on the neck and will not get a scratched up surface over time
Con- pull strength not as strong as metal


How to order your custom collar:
1)Measure your pet’s neck prior to ordering as all sales are final
2)Choose which size range is best for your pet(Sizes overlap, so your pet
might fall into more than 1 size)
3)If your size is offered more than 1 width; choose which width is most
suitable for your pet. Remember: the bigger the collar width, the heavier the
weight of the collar and its’ hardware
4)Choose a hardware color(soft gold, silver, or rose gold)


Collar Sizes
(the actual length of each collar only measures about 1/2” further across than
the top neck measurement it fits, so be sure to include enough extra breathing
room when measuring your pet):

XXS 6-9” necks - 1/2” width only
XS 8-12” necks - 1/2” & 5/8” widths
S 10-15” necks - 1/2” 5/8” & 3/4” widths
S/M 12-17” necks - 5/8” 3/4” & 1” widths
M 14-20” necks - 3/4” & 1” widths
L 17-24” necks - 1” width only
XL 20-28” necks 1” width only


Width recommendations:
1/2” - tiny puppies and adult dogs, cats, and XS who prefer a thin,
lightweight option
5/8” - good for most XS to small dog breeds
3/4” - good for small breeds that prefer a wider collar option, S/M breeds,
and medium breeds
1” - most medium to extra large sized breeds

By ordering, you are agreeing you’re okay with the fact that:

-Design placement may slightly vary and no 2 collars are identical

-Product colors may slightly vary. This is the nature of both product
photography and shopping online. Different phone and computer screens display
color tones a bit differently. I am not a professional photographer but I
always try my best

-The largest collar width we carry is 1”. Keep this in mind If you normally
prefer a wider collar width for your dog(ex. 1.5" width)


Growing puppies
If you are ordering for a growing puppy, please take into account both our
current processing time and shipping time when selecting a size. In some cases,
it may be better to size up. This way your pup won’t outgrow the collar too
quickly after it arrives at your door, and/or so it will still fit by the time
it arrives.

For cats
If you choose to order this non-breakaway collar style for your cat as opposed
to our breakaway collar sold separately in our shop; please select a size made
in the 1/2” width ONLY. Any larger collar width is not suitable for cats. If
you’d like a color coordinating bell and O ring instead of the D ring, leave a
“note to buyer” when placing your order!



*Shop Info*
I’m a small online business of just 1 individual who runs everything in my
shop and makes everything by hand. I strive to make the best quality products,
but I am human. If you ever have an order issue, please consider messaging me
rather than leaving a review so that I can assist you. I really appreciate your

*Returns and exchanges*
Unfortunately, since my shop is a small, made to order handmade business; all
sales are final and no returns or exchanges are accepted. There are absolutely
no exceptions to this policy no matter what your situation is. I always
recommend that you measure your pet prior to ordering. Of course, if there are
any quality issues with your order, that is a different type of situation that
I will be sure to take care of!

*Safety*
It is your responsibility as a pet parent to monitor your pet while our
neckwear is being worn and it is up to you to determine that our accessories
are suitable for your specific pet. I make everything as high quality as
possible; but nothing is indestructible, especially for some pets who have a
mischievous side. I am not liable for any incidents/accidents that may occur. I
am not responsible to refund or replace your item if your pet gets into it and
chews it up while on or off of them.

*Collar Usage*
No collar is indestructible. Please regularly check your collar for signs of
wear and tear. I recommend using a harness for leash use and will even say; use
my collar with a leash at your own risk and that you are responsible for any
accidents that may occur. I make our collars as secure as possible; but I since
I am a small, handmade business I can not give my recommendation for using our
collars with a leash. Our collars may not be suitable for heavy duty use and
are in the fashion category.

*Metal Collar Hardware Imperfections*
Metal buckles may have very small imperfections. I’ve never had any
complaints, but I do want to disclose this. Almost all metal buckles have tiny
imperfections if you look at them closely or hold them against the light at a
certain angle. I inspect every buckle and dispose of any with imperfections
that do obviously show. When purchasing from Piper Blue, you agreeing to be
okay with your buckle possibly having a small imperfection. I am a
perfectionist and try to only send out the best quality buckles. Of course, if
you think anything got damaged during shipping, please feel to reach out!

As for functionality; I test each buckle multiple times before sending out
your order.

*Item Care and Washing Instructions*
I only recommend spot cleaning or carefully washing by hand, as the washing
machine may ruin your items! Lay flat to air dry.
