lt can be used for a long time (More than 5Years) under water or in drought
environment.



7.The degree of carbonization of the driftwood has become one of the very
important factors in choosing driftwoods. Although the surface of the
artificially treated wood is carbonized, the lignin contained in the driftwood
is not completely carbonized and decomposed. In the submerged environment,
after a period of time, the lignin remaining in the driftwoods will be
decomposed into tannins, humic acid and its derivatives. Naturally, when placed
in the fish tank, there will be pigment release, moldy hair, and other Slimy,
off-white sticky clumps and things like that.



It is recommended to soak in a container for a week first(or two week) and
replace 10% -20% water of container once a day.The degree of release of
pigments from the treated driftwood in the fish tank will be greatly weakened,
but the lignin will still be released, but it will not affect our planting of
aquatic plants, binding of moss, and landscaping. If yellow water situation are
continuing appear in the aquarium,we also provide protein cotton aquarium
filter material to solve the problems.Remember,all natural driftwood will have
varying degrees of water quality impact.
